The Anorexic Committee Meeting has been formed to give a voice to the needs of the recovering Anorexic in Slaa and to represent the Anorexic voice at SLAA Uk Intergroup meetings.

This a Group conscience meeting and Sub committee to Slaa Uk Intergroup

In our meetings we explore how to best serve the recovering Anorexic within SLAA.

The format of this meeting is to explore and discuss the role and service for the development of the anorexic committee, the vision and aims, avenues for participation, the creation of roles and service positions, and the means to safeguard anonymous and effective ways to communicate together as a sub committee group within Slaa.

As trusted servants our intention is to priorities fundamental and basic agenda’s for discussion, alongside potential service positions within the committee, and the necessary decisions to be made and voted upon, through our group conscience, 12 traditions, and our Higher Powers Will for us as expressed in our Group.

It is our intention to hold an anorexic committee meeting for the first Thursday of every month.

As a sub-committee to SLAA UK Intergroup, you can contact us through the Slaa uk website by emailing anorexia@slaauk.org

As an anorexic committee, we do not engage in personal email discussions, therefore we do not accept personal emails (i.e., with first name last name information john.smith@gmail.com). We suggest you set up an email address for recovery purposes only.

Our public relations policy is based on attraction rather than promotion; we need always maintain personal anonymity at the level of press, radio, TV, film, and other public media. We need guard with special care the anonymity of all fellow SLAA members. Anonymity is the spiritual foundation of all our traditions, ever reminding us to place principles before personalities.

Note: This venue is always closed on a Bank Holiday (even if, by mistake, a meeting is still listed)
