NEW Meeting in Bristol/Bath

I will be setting up a meeting in either Bristol or Bath, most likely Bristol in the coming weeks. I have spoken to one man who has confirmed he is interested in attending. It would be great if any others who would be could make themselves known to meon the forum. I would also appreciate it if I could have some advice for a suitable venue, pref near to Bristol train station so that everyone can get there, so if you are aware of any ther fellowships in this area please let me know the venues and ill get on the case.

I would be interested. How can we make contact?

I have been involved in SLAA before so I am familiar with a lot of stuff.

Hi, I'm interested! I'm working on issues in another fellowship and have to see that as primary for the moment, but this fellowship is just as essential for me. Am in Bristol and know of one other who has this issue, and another who regularly goes for SLAA meetings in London - I think the demand is there for a meeting in Bristol. I don't know of anywhere close to Temple Meads but will ask around and let you know if I come across anywhere. Poss a bit premature for times, but whilst I'm here I'll put a bid in :) If its an evening meeting then 7.30 onwards on weds is good, or any other eve except for weekends - though would definitely come anytime when I can. Would appreciate hearing re any developments. Thanks for initiating this :)

It seems there is a clear demand for a meeting in the Bath/Bristol area.

I did intend to set one up but when I arrived back in Bath. I have now decided, given I'm doing fine without regualar meetings and the fact I travel outside of Bath a lot I can't commit myself to this.

I would however stress that anyone can set up a meeting - all you need to do is find a venue, let the slaa head office know and post it on the website.

i'd be very interested in the meeting in bath, if i can pluck up the courage to come! Also will it be on tomorrow or will the snow get in the way? If it does, i'll definitely try and come next week

I would be very interested in a meeting at Bristol or Bath. I too would be coming from Cardiff so somewhere near Bristol station would be good. I really feel a deep need to talk with someone who feels as I do and who could offer support. IHave failed to deal with it on my own so far.Darian
